Be Part of the Story
Every young person who enters our care comes with a story—a story often filled with heartache, rejection, and hardship. At Open Arms, our objective is to change the course of these stories. Our hope is to bring Jesus Christ into their lives, introducing them to His love, forgiveness, strength, and healing. We long to help each child discover how their story can find the best possible ending.
You can be a part of their story. By sharing your time, compassion, and support, you can make a profound difference in the lives of these children. While many families may never need Open Arms, some children desperately do. Who will be there for them? Who will help them rewrite their stories with the assurance that Jesus loves them?
CHURCHES
SINCE 1985, Open Arms has been committed to serving neglected, abused, and troubled youth, by providing homes and education to those who need hope in a desperate time in their lives. We exist to provide HOPE. This mission is based upon our belief that all youth have fundamental rights to a healthy home environment, good parents, and a wholesome family life that is God focused. Our mission is to exalt the Lord by serving and sharing Christ through meeting the needs of others.

Prayer Support
Your prayers are powerful. Pray for the children in our care, for new foster families to join us, and for God’s continued guidance in our mission.

Looking for a meaningful mission to support for VBS? Why not start local with Open Arms! By partnering with us, your VBS can make a direct impact on the lives of children in need right here in Indiana. We’d be glad to send a representative to speak to your group about the challenges and blessings of caring for vulnerable kids in our state. Let’s inspire the next generation to make a difference close to home!

Work Groups
Every year, people of all ages and backgrounds journey to Open Arms to make a difference in the lives of children who need it most. By sharing their gifts, their time, and their strength, they bring hope and love into our homes. As we care for abandoned, neglected, and at-risk youth, there is always a “Honey-do” list of projects that help keep these homes safe and welcoming.
There’s no cost for work groups to join us, and we provide housing and meals if needed. We welcome anyone with a heart to serve, from those with specialized skills to those simply willing to lend a helping hand. Each project, big or small, helps transform our ministry and reminds our children that they are loved and valued.
If you’d like to see a list of work projects or learn more, please reach out to Paul at paul@openarmschristian.com Together, let’s make a lasting impact.
